Premium protection

    • Extended warranty

      As a Citi Prestige Cardmember, you'll get an extended warranty on selected products purchased in Malaysia costing RM2,500 per item or less and not exceeding RM5,000 per occurrence, once the original manufacturer's warranty expires. The total coverage period will be the same as the original manufacturer's warranty, up to a maximum of 24 months.

    • Purchase protection

      Many items bought with your Citi Prestige Card are protected for 30 days against accidental loss or damage up to a maximum value of RM30,000 per item or RM75,000 per occurrence.

    • Refund protection

      If you are dissatisfied with your purchase within 30 days and the retailer refuses to take the purchased item back, you can return it and be reimbursed with the purchase price up to RM1,500 per item or RM8,000 per occurrence.

    • Overseas personal accident

      You and your supplementary cardmember(s) are covered for any personal accidents incurred while overseas for up to RM1,000,000 when you charge your travel ticket to your Citi Prestige Card. You will be covered for a maximum of 30 days.

    • Overseas medical expense

      Covers you and supplementary cardmember(s) for any medical costs incurred while overseas, for up to RM50,000 when you charge your travel ticket to your Citi Prestige Card.

    • Hospital confinement

      You will receive reimbursement of RM300 each day that you are hospitalized for up to a maximum of 30 days.

    • Flight delay reimbursement

      If you're delayed more than four hours during travel booked with your Citi Prestige Card, you will be eligible for reimbursement for up to RM2,500 per trip.

    • Trip cancellation coverage

      Every trip you book using your Citi Prestige Card is covered for RM16,000 per trip or RM32,000 in aggregate per annum in the event that the trip is cancelled

    • Baggage loss reimbursement

      Charge your overseas airfare to your Citi Prestige Card and you are automatically covered for up to RM12,000 if your luggage is lost or undelivered within 24 hours.

    • Baggage delay reimbursement

      If your checked bags are misdirected or delayed for more than six hours during air travel booked entirely with your Citi Prestige Card, you may be eligible to receive up to RM2,500 compensation.

    • Baggage damage reimbursement

      If your checked bags are damaged during air travel booked entirely with your Citi Prestige Card, you may be eligible to receive up to RM500 in compensation.

    • Emergency evacuation

      In the event of injury or sickness requiring emergency medical evacuation, you're covered for up to RM75,000 when you charge the full travel fares to your your Citi Prestige Card

    • Wallet Guard

      As a Citi Prestige Card member, you are reimbursed for up to RM500 for loss of wallet due to snatch theft or robbery.

    • Home away contents protection

      If your home is burgled while you're away, you are eligible to be reimbursed for up to the sum insured for a maximum of RM15,000 per year and limited to RM7,500 per item.

    • Rental vehicle excess

      Safeguard your liability in the case of damages to your hire car. While car hire agreements typically offer some level of insurance for your rental, excess cover can give you better peace of mind. As a Citibank Prestige member, you'll get further coverage of up to RM2,000.

    • Compassionate visit

      In the event that you suffer an injury or sickness while overseas and require care, you'll be reimbursed for up to RM5,000 for your caregiver's accommodation, communication, travel and meal expenses.

For example, if you have been a Citibank Berhad customer for the past five years and are now a Citi Prestige cardmember, you will be entitled to a 10% Relationship Bonus on your total purchases in the 12 months made with your Citi Prestige card. If you spend RM100,000 in the 12 months, you will be entitled to Relationship Bonus points of 10,000. And if you are a Citigold customer, your Relationship Bonus points entitlement would be 20,000 points.
